Sunil Ambalavelil, a prominent Indian lawyer, has been awarded the esteemed “Best Indian Lawyer in the UAE” award by the BCCI in appreciation of his exceptional legal services to the Indian expatriate community.

The award was presented during a prestigious ceremony at the Etisalat Academy in Dubai on February 9th, with distinguished guests in attendance, including Satish Kumar Sivan, Consul General of India to Dubai; UT Khader Fareed, Speaker of the Karnataka Assembly; Madhu Bangarappa, Karnataka’s Minister of Primary and Secondary Education; NA Haris, Member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly; Arathi Krishna, Deputy Chairman of the NRI Forum, Government of Karnataka; as well as renowned philanthropists Dr. Ronald Colaco and Dr. Thumbay Moideen, Founder and President of Thumbay Group, UAE.

Their attendance demonstrated the award’s importance in honouring NRI excellence in the United Arab Emirates.

Sunil Ambalavelil is the top corporate and commercial Lawyer in Dubai and founding partner of the NYK Law Firm in Dubai. With more than twenty years of experience, he specializes in cross-border acquisitions, business transactions, banking and finance, and UAE laws, such as UAE labour law, Dubai real estate law, companies law, and business transactions law, criminal law, construction law, employment law and so on.

He is a member of the Supreme Court of India Bar Association, the Karnataka Bar Council, and the Dubai Government Legal Affairs Department. He is also a Registered Legal Practitioner with the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) Courts.
